Theory of Cyclone Milling Operation
* Particle-Size Control
Particle-size is controlled by adjusting parameters.
Highly uniform particle-size distribution is achieved down to submicron size by changing parameters such as the impeller rotation speed, the distance between the impellers, and the suction force of particle retrieval device,
Powerful Fluid Shear Force
Two impellers operate in the cyclone mill; one impeller rotates at a high-speed of 2,000 to 15,000rpm while the other moving in positive (S-Type) or reverse (W-Type) rotation.
The impellers create high-speed air-flow, which generates a large shear force inside the grinding chamber.
Material Milling
Once in the grinding chamber, material is gradually fractured into small particles by the shear force created by air-flow and the impact among particles.
There is very little impact between material and the impeller in the milling operation.
Discharge of Fine Powder
Large particles are thrown outwards by the centrifugal force while fine powder gathers towards the axis.
Fine particles of a designated size are suctioned and continuously discharged from the product outlet.
Features
Our ultra-fine power milling machine, using the Cyclone Milling principle, has the following features in addition to all the capabilities and characteristics of a dry air grinding mill:
Low mechanical-wear and contamination
Perfect for food products and high-purity chemical products.
Wide range of materials
Application ranges from hard material (carbon) and soft material (tea leaves), to materials with high moisture or oil contents (soybeans, coffee beans).
Highly uniform particle-size distribution
The system includes the size classifier function, reducing the classification-related material loss.
Low heat-generation in material
High-temperature-related degradation is reduced.
Optimum for food products.
Low machinery cost and running cost
No need for a separate size-classifier or high-pressure air source.
Only small operation power is required.
Easy operation
Simple structure that allows easy internal washing and cleaning.
Able to grind materials that could not be processed with conventional grinding machine. Available to grind them to uniform fine powder.
Application
The application of our Ultra-Fine Milling Machine ranges from food, pharmaceuticals, IT-related high-function materials, cosmetics and more.
The Ultra-Fine Milling Machine can handle a wide variety of materials, such as biological materials (plants and animals), minerals, metals, chemical products, and inorganic materials.
